The D66-VVD-CDA cabinet of Rob Jetten holds 66 of 150 seats in the lower house and needs 16 more votes in the Senate. It is the first Dutch minority cabinet without a confidence-and-supply deal since 1918. Its 2027 budget and tax plan still lack a majority, with the tax-plan vote due in mid-November. The last Dutch cabinet fell in June 2025.
